Stuart A. Katz

STUART A. KATZ, received his bachelor's degree in economics followed by a Masters in Business Administration and law degree (J.D.), all from Indiana University at Bloomington. Mr. Katz' academic accomplishments include Phi Beta Kappa honors. Following his move from the Midwest and his admission to the California State Bar in 1985, he applied his business and legal background in a marketing function for a manufacturing company while also serving as legal counsel. Mr. Katz has been a full time business and general civil litigation attorney since joining forces with Martin Greenbaum in 1987. He has litigated hundreds of general business disputes with a focus on commercial collections, construction remedies, including mechanic's liens, bond and stop notice claims and enforcement of judgments. In addition to being admitted to the California Bar, Mr. Katz is admitted in all U.S. District Courts throughout California and is also a member of the Colorado Bar. Mr. Katz' involvement in professional and civic organizations includes his past position as co-chairman of the Creditor's Rights Section of the Orange County Bar Association and past president of the Orange County Chapter of Concern II, a volunteer organization devoted to raising money for children's cancer research..
